I’ve had a gnawing feeling lately; a stirring in my heart telling me to share. For so long, I’ve thought, There are too many voices competing online and in the world. I love to write; I love to tell stories; I love to reflect and learn and grow and share through the written word. But could I have something important enough to say to join in the global conversation?

Because the more time I spend online, the more I sense a great divide between the “me” and the “them.” I’m hyper aware of just how many people around me seem to have it all together; people who are achieving goals, making memories, and living quite literally a “picture perfect” life. It seems, so often, that everyone but me has it all figured out.

What do I, a twenty seven year old single woman starting over in a new city, have to contribute to this universal conversation about how to be successful in the world?

As it turns out, everything.

My voice is the one that says, I’m not being ironic; I really did wake up like this, with no make-up and a choice between showering or eating breakfast . . .

And I’m not the only one. So let’s talk. And share and find the freedom to be totally and unapologetically ourselves. Because that’s how God made us.

Thanks so being a part of the conversation. I hope to hear from you, and I can’t wait to share with you.
